"Stones and Vegetation"
The unique topography of the site presents an exciting design challenge. Situated in Nusa Dua, a sought-after destination for villas, the design needs to be distinctive to distinguish itself while capturing the essence of Nusa Dua. The Client desires a design that integrates Mid-Century Architecture elements, featuring a dark facade and incorporating natural stones.
Mid-Century Architecture
By bringing to life the client's vision of a villa design incorporating Mid-Century architectural elements, this villa features two overlapping mass shapes. Additionally, it takes advantage of the land's distinctive trapezium-like shape by dividing the building layout into two sections.
Natural Stones and Vegetation
Although the villa is predominantly designed in a modern minimalist style, the use of natural stones for the facade brings a welcoming, homely natural atmosphere to the design. Moreover, the presence of plentiful vegetation and trees on the balcony enhances the overall aesthetic with a touch of greenery.
