"Bringing Ubud ambience to Kuta"
Situated in Ungasan, Kuta, the client aims to enhance local tourism by introducing a fresh experience. Inspired by the tranquility and natural beauty of Ubud, he seeks to infuse the Kuta area with the lush greenery and serene atmosphere that Ubud offers.
"Sawah Tegalalang" as circulation concept
The site features a distinctive terrain with a sloped elevation of 20 meters, presenting an exciting design challenge. By implementing a "terracing" system on the contoured land, we can utilize the elevation differences to showcase stunning panoramic views from multiple perspectives across the land.
"Gubuk Sawah" as the building concept
Aims to integrate nature into our design by drawing inspiration from the Balinese "Gubuk Sawah" further incorporating the "Sawah Tegalalang" concept. Each room in the resort features rounded and organic shapes for the roofs, reflecting this massing concept.
Green Building Implementation
The integration of Green Building practices in this design seeks to enhance the presence of greenery while minimizing the building's negative impact on the surrounding environment. We focus on Green Building assessments, particularly in the areas of Appropriate Site Development (ASD) and Material Resource (MRC).
